I have decided to take the vegan plunge for heart health.
After hypertension (high blood pressure) diagnosis a few years ago I began making changes to my diet and increased my physical activity. My goal now is to be complexly medicine-free by embracing a vegan lifestyle. Vegan diets have been proven to boost heart health in several ways. A large scale 2019 study has linked a higher intake of plant-based foods and lower intake of animal foods with a reduced risk of heart disease and death in adults. I invite you to join me on this 90 day transition and lifestyle transformation beginning on April 1, 2022 (this is no April fools joke).
